Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Tenji website at tenji.io, the Tenji mobile applications, and any related services (together, the “Service”), operated by Tenji (“Tenji”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will post the revised Terms here and update the “Last updated” date, and where practical notify you in the product or by email. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Tenji is a research and information tool. It is not a registered investment adviser, broker, or dealer, and nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security or other instrument.

Trade ideas and related content in the Service are generated by automated systems and artificial-intelligence models from public data sources. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, out of date, or simply wrong, and they are provided for informational and educational purposes only. No adviser-client, fiduciary, or similar relationship is created by your use of the Service.

Trading securities and other financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Past performance, backtests, historical analogies, and tracked outcomes do not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions, including entries, exits, and position sizing, and you should do your own research and consult a licensed professional before acting on anything you read in the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Service. Sign-in is provided through Google accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account you sign in with and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to maintain no more than one account per person. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our reasonable discretion, including for breach of these Terms.

The Service offers a free plan with limited access (currently a capped number of full trade-idea pages per day; listings and summaries remain viewable), a one-time free trial of the paid plan, and a paid monthly subscription. Current pricing and limits are shown on the pricing page and at checkout; we may change pricing prospectively with notice.

• Free trial. The trial does not require a payment method and does not convert into a paid subscription automatically. When your trial ends, your account reverts to the free plan unless you choose to subscribe. Trials are limited to one per account and may not be combined, transferred, or re-started.
• Subscriptions. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the then-current price until you cancel. Applicable taxes may be added depending on your location.
• Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, we may retry it and may suspend paid access until payment succeeds.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings (or via the Stripe billing portal linked there). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep paid access until then, and your account then reverts to the free plan. We do not charge cancellation fees.

Except where required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused access. If we terminate your paid access without cause before the end of a period you have paid for, we will refund the prorated remainder of that period.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service and its content for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

• redistribute, republish, resell, or otherwise make the Service’s content (including trade ideas) available to third parties, whether free or for a fee, except for short excerpts with attribution to Tenji;
• scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or access the Service by automated means, or use the content to train machine-learning models, without our prior written consent;
• share account credentials or circumvent access limits, metering, or the paywall;
• interfere with the operation or security of the Service, probe or test its vulnerabilities, or access non-public areas or data;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

The Service lets you post comments and other content and cast votes. You retain ownership of the content you submit, and you grant Tenji a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute it in connection with operating and improving the Service. You are responsible for what you post: it must not be unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, or spam, and it must not present itself as investment advice. We may moderate, edit, or remove user content and may retain archived copies as required for legal or operational purposes.

The Service aggregates and links to material from third-party sources — among others, news publishers, market-data providers, prediction markets such as Polymarket, chart providers such as TradingView, and macroeconomic data series. Third-party content is provided for convenience and information only; we do not control it, do not endorse it, and are not responsible for its accuracy or availability. Your use of third-party sites and services is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

The Service — including its software, design, text, graphics, models, prompts, data compilations, and the selection and arrangement thereof — is owned by Tenji or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 6, no rights are granted to you. The Tenji name and logo may not be used without our prior written consent.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT ANY CONTENT — INCLUDING AI-GENERATED TRADE IDEAS — IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TENJI AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR US$100 IF YOU HAVE PAID US NOTHING). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tenji and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, your user content, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 2, 6, 7, and 9 through 17) survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the courts of British Columbia, Canada, and you consent to their jurisdiction. To the extent permitted by law, any claim must be brought within twelve (12) months of the event giving rise to it, and only on an individual basis — not as part of a class or representative proceeding.

The Service is operated from Canada with infrastructure in the United States, and we make no representation that it is appropriate or available in any particular location. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws, including any restrictions on financial research services.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tenji regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Notices to you may be given by email to your account address or within the Service.
